Riverside Lodge, in converted farm buildings,
is a small family run accommodation, which lies on the banks of
the River Colne. The chalets are single storey with twin or double
beds, en suite shower rooms and separate entrance doors allowing
private access.
Every room has remote control colour televisions with alarm clocks, hair drier and coffee and tea making facilities. All rooms are non smoking.
Earls Colne has two golf courses one with a driving range and country club, a number of shops, pubs & restaurants. In addition there are several beautiful walks in the surrounding woodland or along the River Colne.

How to find us
Travelling East along A12
Turn off at Kelvedon and take B1024 to Coggeshall, then continue (B1024) to Earls Colne - come down the hill into village and turn right towards Colchester (A1124) we are approximately 1/4 mile on right next to the Riverside Restaurant.
Travelling East along A120
From M11 turn onto A120 to Colchester, turn left off Coggeshall bypass onto B1124 sign posted Earls Colne - come down the hill into village and turn right towards Colchester (A1124) we are approximately 1/4 mile on right next to the Riverside Restaurant.
From Colchester travelling West
Turn off A12 at Colchester onto A1124 sign posted Halstead and we lie on the left directly after the bridge as you enter Earls Colne.

Our family will soon be moving from Earls Colne to Mount Bures which means that we will no longer have the pleasure of staying at "our home from home" - the Riverside Lodge - when we travel from Newcastle upon Tyne to visit them.
We want to thank you most sincerely for your hospitality during the many times we have stayed at the Riverside Lodge.We will miss the lovely, spacious, comfortable bedrooms, the invigorating hot showers, the delightful riverside views and last, but certainly not least, John's 3 course full English breakfasts - and, of course, the chat!
We will miss you both and the Riverside Lodge. With all our very best wishes for the future.
