Earls Colne Open Gardens 2008
The weather was kind to us yet again this year, and the event raised £712.50 which will go towards St. Andrews "kitchen and loo fund".
Other charities that we supported were
Essex Air Ambulance and RSPCA, which between them received over £100.
Thank you to everyone that took part and worked hard to open their gardens and to everyone that supported the day.
If you are considering taking part next year, remember, you don’t need a large and perfect garden to open it to the public. People like to see what you've done with your garden and how you’ve developed it over the years. They commiserate with you over difficult areas, (too shady, too dry) and don't mind looking at the compost heap or dandelions in your lawn; people are looking for ideas, as well as being able to comment on your hard work.
If you would like to be involved in next years open gardens please send Kirsten your details using the form below or call her on 224913.
The closing date for entering your garden next year will be the middle of April. Exact date T.B.A
